Teaching by day and making parents laugh by night, Moe Ismail is an Egyptian-Canadian standup comedian bringing new levels of energy, diversity, and most importantly, authenticity to the entertainment space. Immigrating to Canada when he was 9 years old, Moe has been a centerstage comedian for the past 13+ years and has built nationwide recognition as a touring headliner across Canada. In 2023, he was selected as one of Just For Laugh’s New Faces in Montreal, was chosen by the Canadian Academy of Film and Television to host the Prism Prize Awards and did a live taping for CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud. In 2022 he co-headlined Just For Laughs Toronto and was featured CBC’s The National. With his keen storytelling skills and fun-loving ambience Moe uses uplifting energy to connect audiences through laughter and relatable truths. Some of his more significant acts include opening for Colin Mochrie, Todd Barry, and Marc Maron, among others.
